After
graduating with a Bachelor of
Science in Psychology from the University of North Florida in 2000 it was my
intention to continue my studies and purse a PhD in the field. My path
however led me to yoga and since then I’ve found myself on an incredible
journey of self empowerment, transformation, and wellness.
In 2003 I travelled to Bali and
received my 200RYT in Ashtanga from Yoga Arts. I then returned to Florida
and enjoyed teaching at a range of facilities while developing my own style
of teaching and continuing to develop my own practice.
In 2007 I moved to Singapore to pursue my
teaching career internationally.

Since my yoga journey began over 13 years ago, I’ve had the opportunity to practice, learn, and play with: John Friend, Shiva Rae, Sarah Powers, Aadil Palkhivala, Maya Fiennes, and many others. I am trained in Prenatal Yoga (Janice Clarfield), Yin Yoga (Paul Grilley), and Kid’s Yoga (Karma Kids). Obtaining my certification to teach Prenatal Yoga led me to pursue becoming a certified Doula. I have been teaching Pre Natal for 7 yrs and have been privileged to work with many women before, during, and after the birth of their babies. I have seen first hand the wonderful benefits that practicing yoga while pregnant can have on your body, your birth experience, and recovery from childbirth. I welcome my students to salute and celebrate motherhood and childbirth! As a new, first time Mom myself, I feel blessed to have taught throughout my pregnancy and experience first hand the grace and glory of yoga while pregnant.
I teach with intention to blend
knowledge and experience in a clear, dynamic and generous manner. I practice
and teach with an open heart and mind. I chose to embrace gratitude everyday
and allow it to bring me joy, I then sharing that joy with others.
My love for yoga enables me to nurture the divine light within so that I’m
able to help others tend to the spirit with in each of them. My vision for
myself and others is to live to your fullest potential and radiate true
health in body, mind, and spirit.
With the birth of my son Connor, in May 2010 I decided to
take an extended maternity leave from teaching to pursue my role as a Mom.
My initiation back into teaching was instructing the Prenatal Yoga portion
of the 2011 True Yoga 200 Hr teacher training. I am excited and eager to be
teaching again with my fresh perspective on life, yoga, and my passion for
both.
